To celebrate the 77th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China, the Real Estate Developers Association of Hong Kong (REDA) announced today that its member companies will launch an array of festive activities and spending privileges across more than 80 major shopping malls and department stores in Hong Kong during the National Day period. From shopping and dining to parking and tourist perks, several malls are launching limited-time ‘77-themed’ National Day rewards, energising the local retail scene with festive excitement.
REDA highlighted that National Day is a momentous occasion celebrated by all. Backed by strong national support, Hong Kong continues to leverage its unique advantages under ‘One Country, Two Systems’ to maintain social stability and economic vitality. To mark the occasion, REDA member companies across Hong Kong, Kowloon and the New Territories are rolling out festive decorations, celebratory events, and spending privileges for residents and visitors alike.
Throughout the National Day period, participating malls and department stores will feature an array of festive privileges, including:
- Shopping Mall Offers & Spending Promotions: Participating malls are launching a wide range of incentives, including member bonus points, discounted e-vouchers, dining rebates, and National Day pop-up lucky bags or fine wines. Selected malls will also partner with designated banks and payment platforms to offer instant spending discounts, accumulated credit card rewards and grand prizes, alongside exclusive National Day deals at participating retailers and restaurants.
- Special Privileges & Tourist Offers: Major malls are offering a range of parking privileges, including complimentary parking for members with no minimum spend or extra free parking hours upon designated spending. Other perks include movie and dining privileges, National Day Fireworks spending rewards, eco-friendly gifts with green spending, and double bonus points at selected department stores, enriching the festive experience for residents and visitors while showcasing Hong Kong’s vibrant appeal.
- Exclusive Privileges for “Southbound Travel for Guangdong Vehicles” Owners: Several malls are rolling out exclusive offers for eligible “Southbound Travel for Guangdong Vehicles” owners, including high-value welcome voucher packs, preferential exchange rates, spending rewards redeemable for theme park tickets or travel vouchers, reserved parking bookings, and complimentary parking for up to several hours.
