The Real Estate Developers Association of Hong Kong (REDA) is extremely grieved by the violent storming of the LegCo Complex yesterday and admonishes such radical behaviour.
Hong Kong people have always upheld the spirit of peace and inclusiveness and respected the rule of law. The marches that took place in the recent weeks including the one yesterday were all conducted in peace and order, earning the recognition of the global community. Conversely, the violent storming and vandalism of the LegCo Complex has severely undermined the core value of Hong Kong. In these difficult times, REDA appeals to all parties to lay down their differences and return to reason, for the sake of charting a new course for Hong Kong.
