香港地產建設商會歡迎立法會三讀通過《2021年完善選舉制度 (綜合修訂) 條例草案》。該條例草案的通過，體現了中央決策的貫通落實，新的選舉體制亦確保了「一國兩制」行穩致遠。

國務院港澳辦主任夏寶龍於全國港澳研究會「完善『一國兩制』制度體系，落實『愛國者治港』根本原則」專題研討會上，強調「愛國者治港」是「一國兩制」方針的核心要義，有利推動「一國兩制」實踐行穩致遠。香港地產建設商會就「愛國者治港」原則，表示贊同和支持。
自回歸以來，「一國兩制」一直是香港繁榮穩定和拓展國際貿易的基石。「愛國者治港」有利香港社會凝聚共識，政府得以開展各項計劃發展經濟，改善民生，以至充分發揮香港國際金融中心和貿易樞紐的優勢。
特區政府根據全國人民代表大會常務委員會所作出的決定，依法宣佈四名立法會議員即時喪失議員資格。香港地產建設商會對全國人大常委會，以及特區政府的決定表示支持。商會認為有關決定有助於維護國家主權和貫徹一國兩制的實行。商會期望特區政府可以聚焦抗疫，振興經濟和改善民生。
