香港地產建設商會的會員與香港同呼同吸，一直以來期望政府加快土地供應，積極興建房屋，為市民提供安居之所。
香港土地發展，往往要經過政府複雜而冗長的行政、諮詢和審批程序，包括城規、環保、基建、換地等等，若牽涉農地，則動輒要花上十多年以至二十多年的時間，才能動工興建房屋，因此若要加快供應，審批程序需要積極簡化，才能奏效。商會未來會繼續與政府一起探討有關方法，以早日達到目標。

香港地產建設商會強烈譴責近日不斷升級惡化的暴力行為和破壞事件！這些行為嚴重侵蝕香港法治核心價值，不斷加大本港經濟下行風險，也極大影響普羅大眾的安全。而破壞污損國旗國徽的行為，則嚴重觸碰「一國兩制」底線，肆意挑戰中央權威和國家尊嚴。
而數週來全港各區全方位的違法暴力事件，亦令廣大普羅市民膽戰心驚害怕外出，嚴重影響市民生計。
為此，我們堅定支持行政長官林鄭月娥和特區政府，堅定支持警隊嚴正執法，止暴制亂，維持社會秩序，盡快讓香港回歸法治，讓社會回復平靜。香港和港人一直崇尚和平、反對暴力，絕對不應該也不可以縱容一小撮別有用心的激進份子以暴力搗亂公共秩序和安全。
香港經濟自年初已出現下行壓力，暴力衝突持續，更令情况雪上加霜。我們呼籲各界以理性和包容的態度積極溝通，一齊尋找出路。亦期望特區政府加快恢復經濟的步伐和加大促進經濟增長的力度，集中精力處理積存已久包括房屋短缺在內的各項社會問題，大幅改善民生福祉，創造經濟繁榮，令所有港人受惠。
